Paw Tracks Pet Gear

The vendor's homepage says "Paul & Marilyn are partners in business and partners in life," founded in 1996, describing a husband-and-wife owned shop with no outside investor or parent named. A Corporations Canada federal search for "Paw Tracks Pet Gear" returned zero results, and a broader search for "Paw Tracks" only surfaced an unrelated company (Bear Paw Tracks Inc.), consistent with the business being a sole proprietorship, partnership, or Alberta provincial registration; the Alberta Corporate Registry itself could not be checked, since it is not a public server-rendered search.

The vendor's homepage banner states its gear is "Carefully crafted in Canada," and the Calgary Canine local-products directory lists the company under Alberta-made goods, based in Didsbury. No factory name, contract manufacturer, or third-party filing was found to verify this beyond the vendor's own claim.

The Calgary Canine directory places the business in Didsbury, Alberta, and the vendor's own retailer-locator pages list only independent pet, tack, and feed stores across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan that carry its goods, not company-owned locations; nothing found points to a second Paw Tracks office or workshop, consistent with a single-site, owner-operated Alberta business.

Product listings describe leashes and couplers made from "one-inch wide premium webbing" with a "nickel-plated swivel bolt-snap" and a "solid steel welded ring," but no page names where the webbing or metal hardware come from. Stamped and plated hardware (snaps, rings, buckles) and bulk nylon or polypropylene webbing for the pet gear trade are predominantly sourced from Asian manufacturers, with a smaller share from North American mills; this mix is an estimate reflecting that pattern, not a sourced figure, and could not be verified against a bill of materials or supplier list.
