Hush

Wikipedia's Sleep Country Canada article reports Sleep Country acquired a controlling stake in Hush Blankets in October 2021, and that Fairfax Financial Holdings, a Toronto-headquartered, TSX-listed company, took Sleep Country private in October 2024 for $1.7B. Both the parent and grandparent are Canadian entities, so ownership is allocated fully to CA; press-grade sources only, so capped at reported rather than verified. Corporations Canada's federal registry returned zero results for "Hush Blankets," so the entity is likely a provincial (Ontario) corporation; the Ontario Business Registry could not be checked (bot-walled).

madeinca.ca lists Hush's mattresses as made in Canada while its other lines (weighted blankets, bedding, duvets, sheet sets, toppers) are made in China; mattresses are one of five listed product lines, so weighted toward offshore manufacturing. The vendor's own site does not disclose manufacturing locations, so this rests on a directory listing, capped at reported.

No vendor or directory statement addresses raw material sourcing directly. Estimated from the manufacturing footprint: fabrics, foam and glass-bead fill for the China-made lines are presumed to originate mostly in Asia, with some North American inputs for the Canadian-made mattresses.
