Canadian Furniture

The vendor's FAQ states its legal name is Definitive Home Inc., registered in Canada on December 3, 2007, and its Our Story page describes it as a Canadian-owned family business active in the furniture industry since 1986, originally as an importer before establishing CanadianFurniture.ca to sell domestically manufactured furniture. Corporations Canada's federal registry returned zero results for Definitive Home Inc., consistent with an Ontario-provincial incorporation rather than a federal one; the Ontario Business Registry is JavaScript-rendered and could not be checked to confirm the individuals with significant control, so the mix rests on the vendor's own statement rather than a registry filing.

Single-region business: the vendor's contact and showroom pages list only two appointment-only locations, both in the Greater Toronto Area (565 Otto Road, Mississauga, ON and 75 Ontario Street, Toronto, ON), with no other office, warehouse, or staff location mentioned anywhere on the site.

The vendor lets customers pick upholstery fabrics and offers free fabric swatches but never states where its fabric, foam, or lumber comes from, and searching the CANADA List feed and madeinca.ca turned up no listing for this vendor to corroborate a source. The mix is an estimate for a small GTA upholstered-furniture and platform-bed maker: domestic lumber and in-house assembly are plausible given local manufacturing, while fabric and foam are commonly imported from the US and Asia for shops this size, so it is not treated as fully Canadian.
